Science Challenge Class

Each lesson follows this structure:

• Short introduction: simple experiments relevant to the challenge
• Challenge task: create a product or solve a problem
• Brainstorm and Hands-on: incorporate knowledge and concept to complete the task
• Testing
• Presentation of results
• Evaluation

Class 1 – Listening

• Importance of listening
• Explore sounds using our body
• Using sounds in the environment

Class 2 – Force and Motion

• Concept of Force and Motion
• Explore uses of force and motion in our lives
• Using force, motion and gravity in challenge task

Class 3 – Nature vs Manmade

• Discussing natural and manmade structures in our environment
• Testing different variables and its effects on the structure
• Using the concepts learnt to strengthen a structure

Class 4 – Nursery Rhymes

• Understanding the structure of a living thing
• Exploring different products of the living thing
• Creative ways of safeguarding the living thing

Day 5 –  Detective Work

• Different types of messages
• Studying forensics
• Being Sherlock Holmes

Day 6 – Outer Space

• Compare and contrast flight instruments
• Factors affecting flight
• Using the concepts learnt to solve a problem about flight

ทุกๆวันเมื่อเรียนเสร็จแล้ว เด็กๆต้องประดิษฐ์ชิ้นงานของตัว จากนั้นก็นำเสนอผลงานเป็นภาษาอังกฤษว่าสามารถใช้งานได้จริงหรือไม่
